The FIT Show is an annual, large exhibition event for the window, door, conservatory and glazing industry. It is held at the NEC, Birmingham and this year’s event took place from the 21st – 23rd of May. It is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers and installers alike to network, demonstrate their products and share their expertise.
We had the pleasure of hosting our own stand this year, where we exhibited a wide range of the latest manual and electric window control products to those in attendance. Here’s a round-up of the best bits from our exhibition.
Mingardi MICRO EVO chain actuator
One of the more recent additions to our product range, the Mingardi MICRO EVO chain actuator impressed many who paid us a visit. This single chain actuator has 4 selectable opening strokes (100-400mm), is available in 230V AC and 24V DC variations, and it can be synced to work as a group of 2, 3 or 4 actuators.

Those who attended our FIT show exhibit were also given the chance to learn about some of our new products, which included the WMU 952 and WMU 982 230v chain actuators. Manufactured by WindowMaster, these heavy-duty actuators generate a high push so they are ideal for operating heavy rooflights. Suitable for use in industrial applications, they’re also designed to be easy to install.

What is Firex?
Firex is Europe’s only dedicated fire safety event. Taking place from the 18th-20th of June, exhibitors from around the continent will be there to showcase a huge selection of products that can be used as part of a fire safety strategy. Whilst here, we will be exhibiting our new AOV vents with corresponding AOV control units and numerous other accessories for use in fire safety systems. We’ll also be on hand to share our in-depth knowledge of the industry.
